Complete software dedicated to LPG distribution processes, GBS is already implemented in 17 countries
Distributing LPG is not a standard goods-and-invoicing business. Most of the tanks in the field belong to the distributor, not the customer, and are supplied under long-term exclusive contracts. Cylinders carry a deposit that has to be tracked by brand and by format. Every delivery is measured in litres at a temperature that moves throughout the year, sold by the kilogram, and, on pressure equipment, comes with a mandatory visual safety check performed by the driver on the truck. GBS was built around this reality rather than adapted to it: it has managed bulk, cylinder and tank operations for LPG distributors since 2000, and the same core platform is still running for a customer that has kept it through 26 years and a change of parent group.
The GBS suite is organised around five connected modules, each covering a different part of the distribution chain:
- GBS: the core international ERP for LPG distribution: orders, deliveries, bulk, cylinders, tanks and customer management in a single system, designed specifically for the LPG business.
- CSCWeb: the online portal that gives your customers self-service access to their account: order history, deliveries and invoices, without a phone call to your team.
- GBSNav: the mobile application that puts GBS in the driver’s cab. Deliveries, delivery notes and invoices are created and sent to the customer directly from the truck, at the point of delivery, instead of being re-entered back at the office.
- eCS: the online access layer for your customer service team, giving dispatchers and support staff a fast, focused view of customer accounts and orders to handle requests without switching between tools.
- GBStech: the online access layer for your maintenance service team, giving engineers and support staff a fast, focused view of customer interventions and planning to handle repairs and operations without switching between tools.
Used together, the five modules cover the operation end to end: from the order or the scheduled refill to the truck on the road, to the invoice in the customer’s hands, to the follow-up call if something needs attention – on one data model, not five.
These are not reference numbers from a case study, they are what runs through GBS every month, across the distributors who use it today:
1100
GBS monthly users
25000
LPG cylinders delivered per day
40000
Deliveries per month
51000
Tons of LPG delivered per month
The only LPG ERP built to run across borders
Most software built specifically for LPG distribution is designed around one country, and it shows in how each product describes itself. A German LPG software vendor, presents itself around domestic references and interfaces with German regulatory bodies. An other, used by a majority of the largest fuel distributors in the UK, defines its own market simply as “UK & Ireland.” And so on, and one of the few LPG software products to operate beyond a single country covers cylinder distribution only, without bulk or tank management.
GBS was built differently from the start: as a single platform designed to run across multiple countries, currencies, languages and regulatory environments, covering bulk, cylinders and tanks together rather than one of them. That is why the same GBS core has stayed in production with several customers for 26 years, through a change of parent ownership, across a footprint that today spans 17 countries.
For a distributor operating in more than one market, or planning to, this removes a choice that single-country vertical software does not offer: running one system with one data model across every country of operation, instead of a domestic LPG tool in each market connected or not to whatever sits above it.
This does not mean the local rules disappear. It means they are handled inside one product: local tax management, multiple currencies and languages, and the country-specific calendars that govern tank and cylinder inspections are configuration, not a separate implementation per country.

GBS is built for independent and regional LPG distributors running bulk, cylinder or tank operations. Typically from around 40 users upward who need one system to cover the business rather than an ERP surrounded by separate tools for routing, tank monitoring or cylinder tracking. If that matches how you operate, contact us to talk through your setup and see GBS in the context of your own business.
